SFRAWD in collaboration with RG Hospital organized the RG Inclusive Marathon 2025, exclusively for differently abled people on 02nd March 2025, Sunday.

The Inclusive Marathon, held on 02^nd March 2025, was a ground-breaking event celebrating inclusivity, human rights, and the Equality. By bringing together differently abled individuals, including those with physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities, as runners, volunteers, and spectators, this event promoted a powerful message of equality and empowerment. As one of the most highly anticipated marathons in Chennai, this event drew an impressive turnout, with 1000 runners from across India participating in the 3-kilometer race.

Set against Chennai’s scenic backdrop, the marathon course showcased the region’s natural beauty, with runners passing through Besant Nagar Beach and experiencing the city’s vibrant atmosphere. The major aim of the marathon was to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities at every level of society and development and to raise awareness of the situation of persons with disabilities in all aspects of political, social, economic, and cultural life. The event was success due to the participation of the differently abled individuals.
