INCLUSIVE MARATHON 2025
The RG Inclusive Marathon was a one-day event held on 02nd March 2025, with the primary objective of promoting inclusivity and celebrating the abilities of differently abled individuals. The event consisted of a 3-kilometer run, which commenced at 7:00 AM from the Besant Nagar Beach. A total of 1000 people participated in the event, representing various categories of differently abled individuals, including physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities. The participants were supported by 800 volunteers, who ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
The event was organized by the Society for the Rights of all Women with Disability (SFRAEWD), in partnership with RG Hospital, and received support from various organizations and individuals. The major aim of the marathon was to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities at every level of society and development and to raise awareness of the situation of persons with disabilities in all aspects of political, social, economic, and cultural life. The event was success due to the participation of the differently abled individuals.
