TAILORING MACHINE DISTRIBUTION
On 27th March 2025, SFRAWD in collaboration with Delotte distributed Tailoring and Aari course certificate and Tailoring Machines to all 75 beneficiaries who completed the tailoring courses from three centres Alwarpet, Vyasarpadi and Kannagi Nagar. It was also closure of the 2024-25 tailoring project. The project has had a significant impact on the lives of the participants. The skills acquired through the tailoring and Aari course have enabled them to gain confidence and self-esteem, acquire a sustainable livelihood and improve their economic status and contribute to their families’ well-being. The tailoring and Aari course project for women with disabilities and mothers of children with disability has been a resounding success. SFRAWD is proud to have empowered 75 women, providing them with a sustainable livelihood and enhancing their economic independence. We look forward to continuing our efforts in empowering women and promoting their economic independence.
